We live in the Triangle, but spend a fair amount of time at the NC coast and have family and friends that own properties there. We are generally looking from North Topsail to Wilmington but are open to other geographies if the situation is right. We are looking for a pure investment opportunity and do not envision personal use of the property.
As young professionals and as a financial advisor, I understand the importance of seeking avenues for smart investments. With a firm belief in the power of diversification, we are looking to invest our own $100,000 in a North Carolina coastal property that generates consistent income. About the Organizer
Meet Alex and Jordan Nelson. Alex was born and raised in Clayton, NC and Jordan grew up in Leesburg, VA. They graduated from High Point University, were married in May 2018, and have lived in the Durham/ Hillsborough, NC area since. Alex, who had a lawn mowing business growing up, found his passion for investing and money management early. After graduation, he began his career as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones where he strives to understand clients' unique financial needs and whatβs most important to them each day. Jordan enjoys working as the Marketing Lead for HIPP Design + Consulting, an engineering and architecture firm in Raleigh, NC. Jordan joined the firm to help found the marketing department and spearhead its efforts to standardize the HIPP brand as the company grows. Outside of work, Alex and Jordan enjoy serving at The Summit Church, playing golf, and working out at their local CrossFit gym. They also love to spend time on the NC coast or in the mountains and travel to explore new places whenever they can. Alex and Jordan are excited to welcome their first child, a boy, in the fall.
